3. Booking and Reservation
3.1 Booking Process
Clients can book our services through our online platform or by contacting our customer service team. A confirmed booking is subject to availability and acceptance by the Service Provider.
3.2 Confirmation
Upon successful booking, the Client will receive a confirmation email detailing the skip size, delivery date, and other relevant information.
4. Fees and Payment
All fees for skip hire services are outlined during the booking process. Payments must be made in full prior to or upon delivery of the skip, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5. Usage Terms
5.1 Acceptable Use
Clients must use the skip solely for the purpose of waste disposal. Prohibited items include:
- Hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, and flammable substances.
- Electrical appliances.
- Vehicles or large machinery.
- Liquid waste.
Any attempt to dispose of prohibited items may result in additional charges or legal action.
5.2 Weight Limit
Each skip size has a specified weight limit. Exceeding this limit may incur excess weight charges. It is the Client’s responsibility to estimate the weight of the waste being disposed of.
6. Delivery and Collection
6.1 Delivery
The Service Provider will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed-upon date. Clients must ensure that access is available for delivery, and that the location is suitable for placing the skip.
6.2 Collection
Once the skip hire period is complete, the Service Provider will collect the skip. Clients may request early collection, subject to availability and potential additional fees.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure that the skip is placed in a safe and accessible location.
- Do not overload the skip beyond its capacity.
- Secure any hazardous items in compliance with local regulations.
- Report any issues or damages to the skip immediately upon delivery.
8. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel their booking without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
9. Liability
Skip Hire Islington is not liable for any damage to property or injury to individuals arising from the placement or use of the skip, provided that the Service Provider has adhered to all safety protocols during delivery and collection.
10. Insurance
While we strive to handle all waste responsibly, clients are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for any potential damages or liabilities related to the use of our services.
11. Compliance with Laws
The disposal of waste must comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws and regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their waste disposal practices meet legal standards.
12. Indemnification

13. Force Majeure
